Türkiye will be Guest of Honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2008. 

The huge public interest shown in the Guest of Honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair is a particular incentive for publishing companies all over the world to publish titles from Türkiye in their own languages.

The translation funding programme TEDA run by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism adds to this effect.
